Here at BW Restoration, we have a genuine passion for classic and vintage cars, and keeping them on the road, and the memories of yesteryear alive!
As classic owners ourselves, we know the ups and downs of classic car ownership, and the challenges faced. With many of the traditional crafts beginning to die out, we’ve amassed skills to be able to keep these motors alive, whilst still being able to embrace the 21st Century! We operate a repair then replace policy, as we all know that original pattern is far superior!
Over the years we’ve worked on many a special motor, from complete nut and bolt restorations to restomods to a simple oily rag! We’ve worked with some of the Midlands top specialists to hone our skills, from fabrication to paint and bodywork, from auto-electrics to drivetrain work. We also have an extensive network of trusted craftspeople and suppliers for those niche and extra skilled bits!
We know your classic is special, so we take care of your car as if it were our own whilst its with us, whether that be a quick service or a long term restoration.

We have plenty of experience when it comes to keeping the heart of your classic beating! Having undertaken a huge array of engine rebuilds from high power US V8 race engines to classic British engines, we have the experience, equipment and contacts to be able to restore your engine to its prime. We also have a vast experience with gearboxes and axles, even those mystical US Automatic transmissions!
Its not always the big jobs that need doing! Sometimes you may have a part of your vehicle that needs fixing up and you don’t know where to start. We’ll take items like heaters, starter motors and light clusters (to name a few) and give them a new lease of life.
Classic Cars no longer require an MOT, in accordance with recent DLVA regulations. But how safe is your classic? We offer a tailored health check to ensure that your classic is fit for the road and capable of keeping you safe. We provide you with a detailed report on the core systems of your vehicle to give you peace of mind that you’re safe on the road!
All of the above, but without wheels! As avid appreciators of automotive days gone by, we offer restoration services for automobilia. From petrol pumps to signs to that weird and wonderful thing that was in your dads garage, we can give them a new lease of life to complement any collection!
